Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed was a Hungarian noblewoman and accused serial killer, rumoured to have killed over 650 people, mostly young women and girls.

Supposedly when she was arrested in 1609, the mutilated bodies of her victims were found in her castle. She was rumoured to bathe in the blood of virgins in order to become eternally youthful. Báthory died in 1614 after several years of solitary imprisonment.

In The Investigator's Narrative[]

Elizabeth Báthory is mentioned in Part 06 of The Investigator's Narrative as potentially having knowledge of flesh interfaces before the invention of LSD. The Investigator speculates that the consumption of ergot may have given Báthory an understanding of flesh interfaces similar to what results from the modern consumption of LSD.

Báthory is also mentioned in Part 07 of the same narrative, in which The Investigator states that her behaviour seeming to indicate flesh interface technology was "probably just a coincidence" as LSD had not been invented yet.
